When I was pregnant with my first, the diaper bag was the first thing I purchased. I had my eyes on a pink and black Carters diaper bag at Marshalls and as soon as I knew I was having a girl, I basically ran to the store to buy it! This time around I literally have waited until the end of my pregnancy to even start looking around for one. Honestly, I had my mind set on a Kate Spade Diaper Bag and was dead set on buying it but after long consideration I decided that spending $400 on a diaper bag probably wasn't the wisest decision and that the money could go to other things baby actually needs. So I've been on the hunt for a diaper bag, something cute but still not so "diaper bag-ish". I had my eyes on a cute teal and grey diaper bag from Target but then I saw a lot of other women carrying it around which was a bit of a turn off, I want to be different!
After doing some well needed diaper bag research, on youtube of course, I came across this brand. Being that I have a 3 year old, a hands free diaper bag would be great so that I can still have my hands free to cater to her needs as well plus I don't have to worry about my diaper bag being in the way since it would be on my back. I like the idea of a backpack diaper bag and the styles they carry are oh so cute!
Yea I know, this technically is not a diaper bag, but many women have used this bag as a diaper bag simple because of its size and make. Being that it is nylon, it is super easy to clean up if you have any spills and its super roomy. I have to have something big, I still carry around a lot of stuff for my 3 year old so a well spaced bag is a must to carry both Pumpkin and the new babies things. This tote comes in 11 amazing colors and if you want more organization you can easily add in a diaper bag insert/organizer.
I came across this bag on, you guest it, YouTube. Now of course I can't find the specific video that I watched but there are a lot of reviews on this bag. What I love most about this bag is that it is so versatile. It can be worn on your shoulder like a tote, as a cross body AND as a backpack. Plus its super cute and has 9 pockets!
Ok honestly, this is my favorite diaper bag on the list. I was actually searching for another bag online that I saw in store at Pacifier but instead came across this bag. This bag is so classy and looks NOTHING like a diaper bag. People would never guess nor probably believe you if you said its a diaper bag! After seeing this bag, I may have found my match made in heaven! I'm extremely considering this as the winner. I am just so in love with the style and it comes in 5 colors all great for fall, I love all the colors so the real dilemma would be picking which color I want!
Diaper Bag By Hip Cub $49.49
Last but definitely not least, ok well maybe least in price but definitely not in cuteness! I really love the pattern on this diaper bag and the style. Also another bag that looks nothing like a diaper bag, it is perfect for if you in search for a cross body diaper bag. Again another style that is perfect for fall and for storing everything baby needs with 7 pockets total.
I'm kind of in a tug of war between the Hip Cub, Longchamp and Brookside tote above. I really do love all of them so the decision is going to be a tough one. Stay tuned for my What's In My Hospital Diaper Bag post to see which one comes out on top!
What is your favorite type of diaper bag, traditional or nontraditional?
I love these! I am currently using my Longchamp as my diaper bag. I'm just not a traditional diaper bag girl I guess. I love carrying something that actually looks like a bag- and not a mommy carry all! haha
ReplyDeleteSee that is exactly why I am really considering the Longchamp. I'm so undecided haha
DeleteLOVE THE Hip Cub one! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI know it's just so cute!
DeleteGreat post! I like the first one but it is a bit expensive, I think, so I would go with the Hip Cub
ReplyDeleteThese are all really cute! It's fun to see diaper bags that still look cute.
ReplyDeleteI remember those days, lol. Yep the right diaper bag makes all the difference because you will literally go everywhere with it.
ReplyDeleteAll these diapers bag look so cool and definitely going to be trendsetter!
ReplyDeleteMy diaper bag with both my son and now my daughter are so bulky. I really need to get with it and get something I am not ashamed to carry!
ReplyDeleteThe diaper bag by Hip Cub is my absolute favorite! Personal yet still versatile in professional occasions. That's what I looked for in a diaper bag—nontraditional and something I could still use even after it's retired as diaper bag!
ReplyDeleteI'll take one of each. I think #1 is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love all of them .My little girl has outgrown diapers. But I can definitely plan something

ReplyDeleteI'm not a mom yet, but I' think that when the time comes I will elect s non-traditional bag. I want to stay fashionable, but also practical!
ReplyDeleteI remember when I had a diaper bag that was a stylish backpack, Thus my love for the polka dot one. Honey, listen, I carried that thing way past the babies. But, I also wore my maternity clothes for a while afterwards too.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome.

ReplyDeleteThe lat backpack diaper bag we had was top- of-the- line and colorful. I love a sleeker and more organized backpack, one that is comfortable and chic to carry. I also look for brands that have a lot of pockets since these are very useful. I love how products are getting great reviews nowadays. Take a look at what I've stumbled upon today http://myoutdoorslife.com/gear/traveling/best-backpack-diaper-bag.html
